Funding Partners

  Partnerships are vital to our mission. We are grateful to our partners (below) for their support and funding focused on engaging youth in outdoor recreation, environmental education and stewardship projects.

FOYAN is so grateful to our communities who  have supported our mission focused on the well being of our youth in Mesa, Montrose, Delta, and Ouray Counties. We specifically would like to recognize the following for the funding awards we  recently received in 2025: 
  • WCCF - Delta Community Fund - $480 for River trip for DHS Special Education River trip
  • WCCF - Ouray Community Fund $1500 to connect Ouray County Youth to healthy outdoor activities
  • WCCF - West Elk Community Fund - $5000 to connect North Fork youth to healthy outdoor activities
  • ElPomar San Juan Council - $20,000 award for general operating
  • Intermountain Health - $5000 for general operating
  • GJ Horizon Sunrise Rotary - for $2000 - GJ Scholarships
  •  GJ Kawanis - $2000 Snowshoes
  •  Boettcher Foundation - $7500 for Van fund - transportation of TRY youth to connect to healthy outdoor activities
  •  Colorado Health Foundation - $30,000 donation for providing nature connections for our hispanic  youth and family populations
  • Junior Service League - $4700 -General operations
  • Forever Our Rivers - $6000 for water conservation education
