Partnerships are vital to our mission. We are grateful to our partners (below) for their support and funding focused on engaging youth in outdoor recreation, environmental education and stewardship projects.

FOYAN is so grateful to our communities who have supported our mission focused on the well being of our youth in Mesa, Montrose, Delta, and Ouray Counties. We specifically would like to recognize the following for the funding awards we recently received in 2026:
And the following awards we received in 2025:
- Colorado Parks & Wildlife Outdoor Equity Grant — $75,000 for youth transportation (purchase of a 15-passenger activity bus), outdoor scholarships, and program staffing
- GOCO Generation Wild Uncompahgre — $34,100 for Together for Resilient Youth (TRY) programming
- El Pomar Competitive Grant — $15,000 for youth transportation (purchase of a 15-passenger activity bus)
- Delta County Commissioners — $3,500 for outdoor field trips for Delta County students
- GBRT PEPO Program via the Colorado Water Conservation Board — $1,500 for Watershed Education for Kids
And the following awards we received in 2025:
- Western Colorado Community Foundation — $31,480 across seven funds for van purchase, watershed education, scholarships, and youth programming
- Colorado Health Foundation — $30,000 donation for general operating support
- El Pomar San Juan Council — $20,000 award for general operating support
- Colorado Grand — $10,000 for general operating support (received 2024, expended in 2025)
- Mighty Arrow Foundation — $10,000 capacity grant
- Anschutz Family Foundation — $8,500 for general operating
- Boettcher Foundation — $7,500 for van fund, transportation of TRY youth to the outdoors
- Forever Our Rivers — $6,000 for water conservation education
- Kampe Family Foundation — $5,000 for Bring On The Summer festival sponsorship
- Additional support from Intermountain Health, Circle of Dreams, CPW Partners in the Outdoors, Junior Service League, El Pomar Northwest Regional Council, GJ Sunrise Rotary, GJ Kiwanis, Delta County Commissioners, Montrose Community Foundation, and Enterprise Mobility Foundation
